Our Broadview team recently hit the streets of Calgary to lend a hand to those without a permanent home. One group of volunteers helped make sandwiches at the Mustard Seed while our blanket patrol loaded up the van and started handing out blankets.

‘We’ve been doing our Random Acts of Kindness initiatives for over a year now,’ said Peter-John Woolf. ‘This time instead of recognizing someone who helps others, we felt it was important for our team to get involved to feed and share the warmth with our fellow Calgarian. This is especially important as we leave the summer behind and the weather temperatures start to drop.’

We would like to thank all those who participated with our blanket patrol and helped at the Mustard Seed. We encourage others to share and give what they can to keep our community spirit alive in Calgary.

Broadview Homes is a proud sponsor of XL103.1 FM’s Random Acts of Kindness by paying it forward to people who help others and help make our communities stronger. By recognizing people who selflessly give to others, we hope to share their spirit of giving and inspire more people to help others.
