Selling Your Home Just Got Easier

We understand that purchasing a new home is one of the biggest investments you’ll make, but in some cases in order to make your dreams a reality you need to sell your current home. We are pleased to announce a way to ease the stress of the move and speed up the process while saving you money with Broadview Homes’s List for Free program, i.e. Broadview Homes will pay the listing portion of the commissions to sell your home.

How It Works

Normally when you sell your home with a Realtor, you pay commissions based on the selling price of your home. Half of that commission is paid to the listing real estate company and half is paid to the selling real estate company. When you take advantage of this program, you are only responsible for the portion of commissions paid to the selling real estate company (3.5% on the first $100,000 plus 1.5% on the balance of the sale price). Broadview Homes will pay the listing portion of the commissions on your pre-owned property for you. This can save you thousands!

For example: on a property that would sell for $450,000 the real estate commissions would be $17,500 +GST for a total of $18,375.00 based on 7% on the first $100,000 and 3% on the balance. In this scenario, you would only pay $9,187.50 to the selling agent and the listing side of commissions would be paid by Broadview Homes.
