At Broadview Homes, workplace safety is a core value and we place high importance on ensuring that our employees and trade partners can work in a safe environment. And so it is with great pride, that we are honoured to be nominated for the 2015 Safety Leadership Award from the Canadian Home Builders’ Association (CHBA).

Over the last five years, we have won the CHBA Alberta Safety Leadership three times and we were also a finalist in another year. The awards recognize companies who continue to innovate and strive to ensure our worksites are safe for our workers, partners and the public.

As part of our safety program, we work in coordination with developers, partners and internal teams to ensure the proper training and safe work practices. We understand that safe work environments do not just happen and so we continue to develop strategies, procedures and use effective communication to keep individuals informed. Safety is only possible through the dedication of our construction teams so we would like to thank them for their efforts and contributions.

We are very proud of our safety rating and the recognition of our peers in the industry.

And while awards help demonstrate our commitment to safety, we firmly believe that the most important aspect of workplace safety is ensuring that everyone returns home safely to their families every day.
